Tresset: Whilst we were here

Oct. 18, 2017 - Jan. 7, 2018 . London (Watermans).

Patrick Tresset’s new exhibition Whilst we were here… opens at Watermans in London on Wednesday 18th October 2017. At his new solo exhibition, which will run until 7th January 2018, Patrick presents two new installations: Whilst we were here, Human Study #5 and RNP-FB, Human Study #6.

On a large rectangular table RNP-A, a duo of ambidextrous mobile robots, scribble continuously on a 2.4 x 3.6m sheet of paper and occasionally observe with curiosity the visitors. RNP-FB, Human Study #6 is a new six armed robot dedicated to draw full length depictions of humans. Earlier versions of the RNP-A were first featured in the Before the beginning and after the end, as part of a collaboration between Goshka Macuga and Patrick Tresset exhibited as part of Macuga's solo show at the Prada Foundation in Milan in 2016.
