3D Printers Have Fingerprints

This discovery is presented for its security uses: source of a 3D-Printed gun,
and counterfeil. This latter point is of major interest for art.
More philosophically, it is yet another example of machines with an identity.
This materialization of the "self" puts another human (or at least
animal) feature into the supposedly ice cold world of machines.
