Mutek performance in Mexico

Audiovisual performance. Notes from danaehi.com. (Digital Art Weekly).
"Mutek ends its 2018 edition this week with its legendary stop in Mexico
City. The international festival for digital creation and electronic music has
since as early as 1999 promoted audiovisual cross-disciplinary practices.
"Bringing together collaborations of audio artists, VJs, graphic designers
and animators, the festival is known to push the boundaries of creation, allowing
its participants to premiere experimental and riskier pieces.
"While night audiovisual concerts happen at industrial building Fábrica,
a Digital Lab allows for professional and educational gatherings and experimenting
with virtual realities, and venues like the Papalote Museo del Niño’s
Digital Dome and Museo Anahuacalli propose a programme called A/Visions for
large-format performances and immersive environments. "
This year’s selection of high-profile artists includes Wolfgang Voigt,
Nonotak, Intercity-Express & Synichi Yamamoto, Intus, Ben Kreukniet &
Vincent de Belleval, and Craig Dorety.
