Motors

The clock, basic motor of the digital.

- Classic meaning (notably electric motor): the basic component for kinetic art, if one wants to drive it.
- Software context: the terms was launched in the 1980's for AI expert systems (inference motor).
- Interactive works. [Aziosmanoff] uses this term in in architecture of "living art" works, which must have three motors: expression, behavior, perception.
- Deleuze (Cinéma 1, 1983) lists six types of "images-movements": perception, affect, pulsion, action, reflexion, relation.
