Multimedia
Multimedia is a transitory concept, after audio-visual for instance. Cross-media and transmedia are more in the winds of the 2010's.
- Our posts and references.
"Interdisciplinary", "Multimodal" and "Transdisciplinary"
can be considered , from the arts standpoint, as synonym of multimedia, with
more academic connotations and uses.
It could be useful to make a difference betwen:
- multimedia works, using several media in the same work (a minima, image and sound)
- multimedia artists using different media in different works (we use this category as a solution to otherwise unclassifiable.
