Marius Watz (NO) is an artist working with visual abstraction through generative software processes. His work is concerned with the synthesis of form as the product of parametric behaviors. He is known for his hard-edged geometries and vivid colors. Watz has exhibited at venues like the Victoria & Albert Museum (London), Todaysart (The Hague), ITAU Cultural (Sao Paulo), Museumsquartier (Vienna), and Galleri ROM (Oslo). He is a lecturer in Interaction Design at the Oslo School of Architecture and Design. In 2005 he founded Generator.x, a curatorial platform for the production of a series of events related to generative art and computational design. Marius Watz is represented by [DAM]Berlin. Ben et Bene _ musician coming from the punk-rock scene exchange his guitar for computers and machines. Very rapidly joined by Taueber with video projection, Henri-B, eager for new sounds and atypical experiences, started to tweak pitch, Fm, release and any other mean at their disposal to produce music differently. Ben et Bene is a cross over of electronic music and slow films. On the sound, Henri-B use the collision between distorted pop voices, energetic synthetic, acoustic and rhythmic sounds, using computers, keyboards, samplers and other unidentified instruments ... On the images, Taueber, camera woman, mixes private videos, sample from the small screen and interrupted images. To the contrary of current VJ battles, she reinvents her own TV reality show and cinematography ... Together, the combination of sounds and visuals makes a Ben et Bene -show hops constantly between hysteric dance floor and realmovie. Mark Making mediaruimte web-site
